The SPL8 is an externaly powered single point lubricator designed to operate in conjunction with the equipment on which it is installed. It will only discharge lubricant when the equipment is operating. The power supply connected to the machine or PLC operates the unit.
The SPL8 is an electro-mechanically actuated single point lubricator that offers reliable lubrication with 6 dipensing rates (1,2,3,6, or 12 month and half month). It consists of a vertical feed pump, motor/gear set with a microprocessor control system and allows for an operating pressure of 280 psi. A large LCD display is provided and can display:
- Dispensing Period setting
- Days Remaining (for cycle completion)
- Days since malfunction
- Days since expiration
- Test Mode
- Low Battery
- Motor Overload
- Low Grease Level
- Grease Volume Selection
